Staged, a fast pace series of fun challenges in which team members take on tasks  we’ve set,  to earn points and gain kudos from their team mates.  With such little time and in full view of everyone, what could possibly go wrong!

In teams of 5-10,   you’ll bring one team member up at a time to face the unknown.  They can volunteer themselves, or ye ca volunteer them, it’s up to ye. Once up they’ll be given instructions and with no time to think or back out, will take on the challenge. Depending on the challenge they must be the first to finish or are against the clock and have less than 2 minutes.
With the likes of rubber rings, loo rolls, boxing gloves, post its, brushes, words or ducks  at your disposal to complete the challenges. you’ve every chance to be a hero for your team.

Inspired by popular TV shows, Staged is an indoor team building event that challenges teams with a hilarious selection of fun team building games that will have your people laughing throughout

The tasks may be individual, but all team members take part to rack up the points.

Are you a good artist? How good is your aim? Good at timing? How are you with chopsticks? We’ll find out with this mad cap activity

Once the scores are in, we announce the winner and hand a prize to the winning team.

Dublin Zoo Treasure Hunt

Our Dublin Zoo Treasure Hunt around this famous Dublin icon is a great team-building event. App or paper-based, stroll round to complete the challenges,  taking in the flora and fauna from around the world. Your only task is to earn points by getting the questions right.

You will be tested on your general knowledge, observation, problem-solving, interaction with other visitors and you get to see some fantastic animals too of course. You’ll learn some interesting facts along the way. Not to mention all the great selfies and videos you get to take!

We help you every step of the way.

Meaning that we will work with you to help put together your event. We will liaise with the zoo so all you have to do it turn up and enjoy yourselves.  On the day our event staff will be on hand to deliver a  briefing, offer guidance and support (but no clues!) and afterwards will provide a wrap-up presentation announcing the winning team.   We will do the following for you:

Countdown Challenge can you get through all the challenges before the timer runs out?

Diverse mix of challenges that makes the activity appeal to everyone, meaning each person in a team can contribute making this a fully inclusive activity ideal for introverts and extroverts, creatives and problem solvers and everything in between.

The clock starts ticking and the pressure is on. How does each team react? Some will open their team pack to plan their strategy and read all the rules and instructions, others will charge off like uncontrollable kids in a toy shop trying to gorge themselves on accomplishing the fun and varied activities. Each challenge has a Gold, Silver & Bronze difficulty and scoring level from the following categories – Creative – General Knowledge – Mental – Physical – Reconnaissance – Sensory – Technical. From puzzles to putting, drawing to dancing, perfumes to pom-poms, antiques to antics, landmarks to logos, Rubik’s to road signs… there’s so much to do and so little time. Furiously, the teams try to complete the challenges they have started to earn as many points as they can before the clock hits zero.

A treasure hunt in Limerick is full of historical places, a bustling city centre and great people: King John’s Castle, Fashion Quarter, O’Connell Street, Thomond Park, Milk Market, Treaty Stone, shops and more.

QUESTIONS, TASKS AND CHALLENGES…

In teams of 4-7 persons, explore, learn and work as a team whilst taking on questions, trivia and team challenges. Based on historical facts and local events, local musicians and sports personalities, famous people and local food and drink, this is a unique team event designed to test your knowledge and teamwork.

This is a fully managed event, meaning our dedicated and experienced team will work with you before the event, to help put together your game and help recommend a suitable venue for the start and end of the hunt. We can brand the game with your logo and can tailor questions to your company or conference.

On the day, our event staff will be on hand to deliver a safety briefing, offer guidance and support (but no clues!) and after the event we will provide the eagerly anticipated wrap up presentation.

As with all of our Treasure Hunts, this is unique to this special location. Delve into historical happenings of Limerick and county, identify famous people from the area and gain amazing new facts about the city  and have fun with your colleagues.

The Cork Chase GPS Treasure  Hunt is the perfect Treasure Hunt for teams that don’t have time for a treasure hunt!

A tiny bit more challenging than our Cork Treasure Hunt but not as difficult as our Da Vinci Code Challenge, Cork Chase is a fast paced, winner takes all fun event based around famous people past and present from Cork city and county.

Starting from the any venue in the city centre,  you will be given a brief, we will  then get ye into teams and  hand out the tablets and then off you go.

On the tablet are a number of intriguing POI (points of interest) icons across  the island in Cork city centre.  Click on each POIs to release a riddle, a  question or take a photo and video challenge.  Make sure you’re in the right location though  or risk being told by the game you’re too far from the right spot.

Do well at a POI  and hidden golden POIs will suddenly appear within the app. Each golden POI will give you a clue the identity of the famous person who is the subject of  the final challenge.

Be quick though as you are able to monitor the score and location of the other teams who may be hot on your heels.

The more hidden POIs you unlock,  the more clues you’ll have for the final challenge back at the hotel afterwards enabling you  to unlock the treasure chest  and collect your team prize and be claimed as winners

Based on the hit TV show, “The Apprentice” with Sir Alan Sugar, Donald Trump and Bill Cullen here in Ireland, you have to work as a team to buy, sell, blag, negotiate and finance your way to success. Fail and you are fired!

This team challenge can be done in any major city or town, where you will be asked to complete tasks with time and budget limits. You will amaze yourself having completed tasks you never thought you’d ever find yourself doing. Afterwards, we relax in the hotel or conference centre for a full fun review of the day.

In our Christmas Treasure Hunt, can you help Santa by finding all the items on his list as you run round the city. Mobile Escape Game a highly competitive race to beat the clock and the other teams.  

Our Mobile  Escape Game can be set up in any private venue.. in fact in just about  any private indoor or outdoor space, anywhere in Ireland be it a hotel, office or factory.

The aim of the Mobile Escape Game is to be the first team to find all the checkpoints. Each checkpoint is image based and working with your clue sheet you will want to solve it as quickly as possible. Once all the checkpoints are finished, you’re clear to complete the final challenge to be first to unlock the chest to claim your team prize and  bragging rights for the rest of the day 🙂

 The challenges are based on observation, translation, general knowledge and logic etc. Team work and clear communication  is vital as the clock is ticking and other teams are hot on your heels, eager to get their hands on the prize.

It’s a great event if you’re looking to get everyone outside and energised in the sunshine  during your  meeting or conference and  away from their computer screens.

Based around a virtual motel , your mission is to work out who is staying in The Motel & who organised the party?

Your friendly Event Manager will welcome you and give an introduction and instruction to the group and then once you’re ready , we will hand out the tablets and clue packs.

On the tablet you’ll then choose a team name and take a fabulous team photo (and possibly earn some points) and then you’re off..

You will go to the first of your 10  Motel Rooms, each  with a  set of clues and challenges for you all to enjoy. Piecing the details together ,  your mission is to work the name of the guest staying there.

CYBER COUNTDOWN – Criminal hackers known as “NOUGHTEE” have attacked key sites around the world.  With the threat of them releasing sensitive information looming,  you and your colleagues have been challenged to solve their riddles in 60 minutes.

NOUGHTEE’s devilish work has locked the control centre hub with a challenge or two. Solve this puzzle and more onto the next one.

Working in teams of 4 to 5 people connected using your preferred video conferencing system , players use  the Networking Information Challenge Exchange  or NICE documents.  Within the NICE are a set of hints which you must relay to the captain.

Do it quickly for there’s the change to win big with the final challenge.

A fun remote escape room type game in small teams up to 6 people per team, to be played from home or office.

We send your team an e-mail with a link to connect to the video conference. You then just click on the link, so easy!

Our game master (1 per team) then welcomes you and explains your mission. We will then accompany you throughout this remote escape game and maybe giving a few helpful hints if you really need it.

Once the rules have been established, the game master then sends each participant certain elements of a first puzzle that allows them to enter a virtual apartment. Through good communication and clear instructions, you’ll work out what to do.

During the course of the game, participants move from room to room to complete fun collaborative challenges. To do so, you’ll also have to find objects in your teleworking space, be it your office or home.

So you’re not just sitting in front of a computer you will have to get up and move about, compete for some changes and then,  make the right decisions to move forward… all the way to the kitchen for the final challenge.

Green Impulse is about to launch, can you save the project?

The year 2030. The Green Impulse, the first subsonic shuttle working without any fossil energy, is about to take off!

Welcome cadets! Today the Green Academy will designate the pilot team for the Green Impulse! As you all know, you all are candidates for the launch of the first subsonic air shuttle, using only renewable energy!

Please be careful: someone is trying to sabotage the project! You will have to gather clues along with your training in order to identify the culprit among a list of suspects.

Catch them before it’s too late!

Green Impulse is best enjoyed on a laptop, desktop or tablet, though smartphones can be used. The game can be hosted by one of our facilitators using a video-conferencing tool such as Zoom. This approach is ideal for a virtual meeting or conference.

Alternatively, the game can be tackled by teams as a stand-alone team building activity. In this case, each team joins the activity on a day and time of their choosing. When you don’t want to get a large group together (virtually), this approach is ideal. It’s also a great format if you have teams operating in different time zones.

The irony of not being able to offer this event during lockdown was painful.  That’s all changed now as we’ve worked with the developers to bring you a virtual version of our popular game.

Instead of tablets, we can now do this over HTML on any laptop top or desktop from your home or office for up to 10,000 players.

Teams are transported deep inside an abandoned industrial complex stuffed to the brim with both dangers and opportunities. The scenario provided is thought-provoking and fun with a focus on the teamwork that will be needed to escape.

Radiation levels are rising while air quality steadily deteriorates. There are many rooms linked by many doors. Which route will your team take? The tablet provides feedback and updates about new surroundings.  They can also see how other teams around them are faring (or failing!). This is one competitive Escape Game!

The Random Game, a series of quick fire questions and photo and video challenges

After a short introduction from us, team get into their breakout rooms and individual teams over their chosen video conference system.

The team captain will then enter your team name  and then off you go along the board.

Teams make their way along the coloured track, hoping to reach all 35 squares before the time runs out. Each colour has either a question or puzzle  or photo and video challenge, but are in random order so you just don’t know what’s coming next.

You have 60 mins to get as many done as possible.

The Random Game, a tablet based series of random questions and riddles. Fast ,fun and highly competitive for groups of any size, anywhere in the country. It’s a quiz and then some that will get your team thinking, moving and laughing.

After a short introduction from us, team get into their teams , are handed a tablet and off they go

The team captain will then enter your team name, take a fabulous team photo and you’ll race  along the board.

Teams make their way along the coloured track, hoping to reach all 35 squares before the time runs out. Each colour has either a question or puzzle or a photo and video challenge.

Based very loosely on the book, The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, this desktop-based team game challenges your logical thinking as you strive to find the location of the Holy Grail through a series of challenges.

An event which we can access from anywhere in the world over your chosen conferencing system such a Zoom  Answer questions as you travel across Europe from the comfort and safety of your own home. Answer the questions using your search engine, logical thinking and general knowledge and maybe a little luck. Observation, communication, logical thinking are key to success.

If you’re struggling, don’t worry we are on hand to help,  but it will cost you a time penalty.

Working in teams of 3-4 persons you must collate all that you’ve learnt. Do well and maybe a well-known expert in symbology will help you. Be prepared to help your teammates as you’ll want to be sure everyone has access to the final prophecy for translation.

A quiz over 5 days, Week Link is our take on the TV show The Weakest Link with our own Ann Robinson.

Each day 10 contestants will tackle our questions and our scary host, a professional actor  in 2.5 minute rounds. If you know the answer, answer it quickly, if you don’t, pass. Remember too to “bank” the points. If you don’t you could be voted off by your work colleagues as the weakest link.

Labyrinth is an indoor team building game of Strategy and Planning with multiple timed tasks to choose from, to get across the board and outplay your opponents

Very loosely based upon the popular TV game-show The Crystal Maze, “Labyrinth” is a multi-activity indoor team building event. The format quickly gets people working together, achieving results and lots of laughter.

In true Crystal Maze style, the activity area is divided up into a series of challenge zones, and within each zone lies an intriguing team challenge. Over a number of rounds (usually 5), teams select from a menu of available team challenges. Ranging from cerebral problem-solving activities to more active tasks, each requires a different skillset or method of working to gain a successful outcome. This gives teams the ability to play to their strengths and control the board.

Once chosen, teams go to the corresponding zone to tackle the challenge contained within. Success will be rewarded with points – but just how many will depend on a team’s performance relative to the other teams taking part. At the end of all play, points that each team has accumulated are banked. The team with most points are the winners and will be declared Labyrinth Champions!

One of the strengths of Labyrinth is its versatility as a team building activity. It can run partly or entirely indoors – useful if the weather is an issue. If you have a meeting room and access to the outdoors, we can even make the decision on the day itself – indoors or outdoors? Either way, you get a great event!

The Labyrinth can be completed purely for fun, or we can include time to review and discuss how teams operating. Escape Game for Large Groups

Our escape game activity is along the lines of escape rooms whose goal is to leave a room by solving different puzzles. Although these games are great, they are limited by small numbers of people at a time.  Our escape game is a large capacity team-building type activity,  that can easily accommodate up to 200 people.

To carry out your mission,  teams will each have a pack and will have to solve the many enigmas proposed to open the locks that protect the different compartments of it,  on the trail of our explorer.

Between action and reflection, manipulation and observation, everyone must bring their experience to the benefit of the team to be the fastest and win the victory!

With this activity, you do not move in an escape room, but the escape that comes to you as we can run anywhere in Ireland.

The scenario provided is thought-provoking and fun with a focus on the teamwork that will be needed to escape.

Balloon Bash  is a simple yet fun icebreaker

Perfect for any time during your conference or event to inject some energy and engagement into the room.

Groups arrive at the visual splendour of coloured balloons, which will amuse the group and raise a few smiles. Creative Team Building – A unique 3D sculpture project stimulating individual and group participation

Creative team building with an initial discussion within each group regarding the theme begins the project, decisions are made on individual and group level about the procedure of work, giving an opportunity for the flow of ideas to impact on the overall piece.

Participants begin by creating their own individual piece of work using the materials provided. They have complete freedom to explore the medium and build a sculpture to fit the theme and overall group plan.

Using basic materials like cardboard, newspaper and paint, our professional artist will demonstrate various techniques used to achieve the best results with the materials provided.

The group continue to interact during the project, stimulating ideas and making decisions on how the pieces fit together and working as a team to complete the overall sculpture.

This event explores both individual and group creativity, co-operation between individuals towards achieving a desired result and gives a wide range of experience of group decision making/interaction.

We can say that this programme will put fun into preparing for interview and help you make the next interview the most positive experience possible. Writing them down is crucial, and so is saying them out loud. This will allow you to have greater control and make informed choices about the next leg of your journey, the stage in your build or the chapters to come in your story.

Darren Priest is our Career Coach. His coaching approach is evidence based and informed by his Certificate in Coaching Psychology and his Masters in Career Coaching (University of East London). This knowledge and experience allows Darren to adapt his coaching style and approach to meet the needs of each individual client and to support them in realising their true potential. Darren has a proven track record in bringing out the magic that he knows is within each and every client that comes to meet him. This can mean asking questions that challenge and even provoke clients towards new insights and changes in perspective thus opening up choices that were not previously evident to them. Darren’s Masters in Occupational Health Psychology* (University of Nottingham) further informs his approach to one-to-one coaching, enabling him to appreciate what can help individuals thrive in the workplace.

What is Soapbox crew?

A number of teams, working in separate areas, are each given the task of constructing a vehicle and developing a marketing concept for it. In the end, their karts are presented in a test drive and are put through an NCT to test them for safety. A versatile tool that puts the fun back into learning.

Collaboration and Communication are key

How It’s Done?

Each team is given the task of constructing a vehicle complete with brakes and steering system. Each kart should be capable of transporting one person and will be powered by up to two HP (Human Power). The vehicle will also need a logo and a slogan to go with it. One major sticking point in the task: the vehicles should be as similar in construction as possible, but differently equipped. During the development phase, the leaders of the construction teams meet in a separate area to talk everything through in detail. In the ‘Change’ variant, the teams work for a specific length of time on their vehicle and are then re-deployed to continue working on another team’s vehicle. The learning project culminates in the NCT inspection of the vehicle followed by a  vehicle parade.

Work Positive is a risk assessment tool for hazards that can cause stress in the workplace. It allows organisations to see what works and also pinpoint potential hazards to be addressed in consultation with staff.

The Box is a great indoor team building exercise. It is perfect to accompany your team meeting or conference. We arrive with THE BOX full of games and puzzles which will energise and entertain your team. A fast-paced event to stimulate the teams as they earn money by hiring materials from THE BOX and complete tasks set within time limits. Fail and the earnings go towards the other teams.

So how does it work? 

Each team must choose what activity they want to do based on how much money they have and  “buy” materials to do so. If the task is done correctly they earn money and then they choose another task to earn more money and so on.  Will a  team choose a low-risk activity or will they risk it all with a difficult task? Bankruptcy or boom!

Upon arrival you be greeted by your Event manager and given a game and safety briefing. We will divide ye into teams and hand out a tablet and game pack for each team.

There are 3 parts to the Gaolbreak event.  You will explore the venue taking in areas like the west wing, governor’s office, governors garden, exercise yard , debtors gaol, hospital,  exercise yard , walls and  exhibits  to earn points  by answering questions based on the exhibits, information panels and through general knowledge.

You will be tasked with  showing off your creative skills though and series of photo and video challenges which we will send on afterwards

The team with the highet poitns ,wi receive a pardon from the governor and bragging rights for the rest of the evening.

Laughs all the way with our Christmas Creative Challenge

This is a 21st century take on a traditional quiz and indoor treasure hunt which will spice up any conference or company social event.  Laughter all the way as you race to find the answers, work with props and other teams to gain the highest score. Tasks based on observation, problem solving, actions, creativity and interaction with other teams without having to leave your venue.

So how does it work?

Our Event Co-ordinator welcomes and briefs your group and then gives each team (typically 4 to 8 people) their tablet computer.We will  have placed  intriguing images at key locations around your chosen event venue. Each image conceals a secret code word. Teams search for the correct image  and, when found, input the discovered code word into their tablet. A correct code word opens up a set of fun and interactive team challenges.

With rounds such as Camera, Replication, Ireland, Random, Riddles, Music – you’ve plenty to keep you entertained throughout this 2 hours event.

Afterwards we give you copies of the photos and videos the teams have taken as a memento of your event.

Creative Challenge works well at loads of different venues across the country.  An ideal venue provides space for your group to move freely around.

Cross Check  is part competitive, part collaborative in that you have to work with other teams at times to enable your own advancement through the game.    Armed with your tablet and a clue pack, race through the questions, codes and photo and video challenges.

So how does it work?

Our Event co-ordinator welcomes and briefs your group and then gives each team (typically 5- 8 people) their tablet and clue pack.  Teams choose a team name, takes a fun team photo and then inputs their code into their tablet to launch their set of challenges.  You’ll start with simple timed questions which you’ll answer within your team. Then along the way Cross Check Challenges  appear which you’ll have to work with other teams to answer. Do well and you’ll earn big points.

With rounds such as Camera, Balloons,  Letters, Random, Riddles, Music – you’ve plenty to keep you entertained throughout this 1 hour  event.

Afterwards, we announce the scores and give you copies of the photos and videos the teams have taken as a memento of your event.

Just a Minute is a series of high-energy tabletop group activities using everyday household items and office supplies. After a fun demo and practice session, each challenge is played and teams are scored accordingly. Great for daytime teambuilding or after dinner entertainment, this fast-paced event will have everyone laughing, cheering and vying to become Just a Minute champions.

After an energizing kick-off, your group will be divided into sub-teams and assigned to an activity station. Multiple rounds are played using a three-step system of demo, practice and competition. Teams are constantly engaged and focused on continuous improvement in an attempt to maximize their score.

Examples of challenges may include: Back Flip – tossing and catching an ever increasing number of pencils, Moving on Up – a fun cup stacking activity, Card Speed – a race to put a shuffled deck of cards in a specific sequence.  Our unique scoring system keeps the energy flowing and the teams in the thick of the competition throughout the entire event.

This is one of our most competitive teambuilding events and works as a perfect addition to any corporate or social gathering or as a stand-alone activity.

The program finishes with an exciting awards ceremony where individual challenge winners are announced leading to the overall gold medal Champions.

Our Christmas race night bring all the excitement of a “Day at the Races” to your venue! This event is staffed by a professional compère and experienced tote staff. We use a large screen video projection system and high quality PA with horse racing video footage from various courses in the country including both jump and flat races.

Guests are invited to place bets with fun money, which can also be personalised to your company, as can the race cards.

Corporate race nights are fundamentally different to Fund Raising race nights, with no real money involved and we operate a format based strongly on fun and entertainment. Guests can bet individually or as teams, usually denoted by the table they are sitting at, and are all given fun money as the event opens. The person or team with the most money at the end of the event wins the prize!

Before our corporate race night starts our compère and tote sellers will introduce themselves to the guests, before handing out the fun money and branded race cards.

The race cards contain instructions but the compère will also verbally explain the format to the guests. Once the formalities are over and the form guide perused, the odds are announced and the bets are placed at the tote booths.

When the race finishes the winners will go to the tote booths and collect their winnings. A typical Corporate Race Night has four to eight races and lasts for around 2 hours.

At the end of the event the team will the most fun money are the winners, prizes are awarded to the top scoring teams! Christmas Race Nights are just one of the many types of Fun Christmas Entertainment that we can offer.
